ANATOMY OF A ROOM: MODERN, YET FRENCH, BEDROOM
As much as I love the black bedroom look, I am equally an admirer of the white bedroom look. It's just as glamorous (in my opinion) and right now I am crushing on designer,Tompkins Lloyd. This bedroom might just be my favorite. It's a little bit French and a little bit contemporary modern. A little bit vintage and a little bit new. I always enjoy a well executed mix.
With all of the hide and fur action going on in this room, it takes the starkness up a notch and gives the element of cozy warmth. Fur can really do so much for a space. I also really love the vintage brown leather lounger paired with acrylic nesting tables. Something about that contrast looks really chic to me.
I did a bit of sourcing and found a few beautiful things that could give your bedroom this chic look.
Contemporary bed | French gilt mirror | acrylic nesting tables | modern white dresser |white mongolian bench | 1970's leather lounger | square stitched hide rug | orchid arrangements | bronze task lamp | Kelly Wearstler book HUE | No 5 Culture book | french riviera book |
